i have been reading the fastlane millionaire and here's what i learned from it today:
- wealth is not defined by stuff. it can be explained by the 3 f's. family (relationships with people), fitness (health), and freedom.
- freedom is the most important to maintain and the easiest one to mess up. having freedom allows for fitness and family but lack of freedom makes them suffer too.
- wealth is a process not an event. it does not happen overnight and involves a process of working hard to achieve that wealth. money made without a process, like through winning a lottery, is not true wealth because it doesn't last. the process of wealth requires financial discipline and a financial plan.
- luck is created. no wealth is made through pure luck. luck plays a role but the probability of getting lucky is increased through the process of action. process is showing up where success is probable and moving the needle of luck to highly probable through action.
- responsibility and accountability give you the steering wheel of your life. responsibility without accountability is useless. it means you are aware of your mistakes and take responsibility but do not learn from them. accountability is making modifications to your behaviour to get a desired outcome. responsibility and accountability go hand in hand and without them, you will always remain blaming something other than yourself (stock market, your boss, government, parents, etc.) for everything bad that happens to you. everything bad is your fault and it can always be avoided or improved the next time.
also i need to structure and systemize a few things in my life:
- gym workouts (add outdoor cardio 2 times a week)
- a theme for these posts (what exactly to write about every day)
- 1-2 daily habits along with working out.
